Panda
Panda is a 13 year old cob. He has been with us since 2016 and loves his job!
His favorite things to do are throw his feed bucket about, go on walks with our participants and snooze in the barn.
He gives great hugs and will always be the first to welcome new friends to the group.
Pie
Pie (known to some as Lillypie) arrived at Thornton Rose with Oshie back in 2013 when she was just 4 years old. She has built a very loyal fanclub in her time with us!
She is a total dressage star an has taken many of our participants to regional dressage competitions.
Amber
Amber is our newest team member, having only started her RDA journey in spring of 2021 thanks to the Tesco Bags of Help scheme.
She has seen lots of exciting things and made new friends since arriving and continues to learn something new every session.
Amber loves to go on walks with our participants in the indoor school and woods around Thornton Farm.
Shadow and Willow
Shadow and Willow are the tallest and smallest of our pony team!
They both very kindly joins us for our RDA sessions on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Willow is a Shtetland pony who enjoys being cuddled and pampered our participants and volunteers. She is great at obsticle courses in the school but sometimes finds it hard to keep up with the bigger horses out on a walk!
When he is not helping out at RDA sessions, Shadow spends the rest of the week with his owner Julie.
