5 Treasurer’s Report and Renewal of Fundraising (Carol)
The Treasurer’s report will be available online via the links at the bottom of the page in advance of the meeting. As suggested at a previous AGM, since the audited accounts presented to OSCR (Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator) are for the previous financial year, alongside these accounts, the Treasurer will include the latest accounts which are still under audit.
6 Setting of membership fees for 2019/20 (Mags)
The trustees will propose membership fees for the new session.
Draft Resolution 19.1 proposed by Chair and seconded by Secretary : We the members of Thornton Rose RDA, SCIO SC028617, resolve to make no change to the membership fees.
7 Relocation from Thornton Farm (Tommy)
The Trustees are continuing negotiations over a move from Thornton Farm. An update will be presented to AGM.
8 Election of Trustees (Kay)
Our charity’s rules over the election of Trustees is contained in our constitution and is summarise in note 1 below. By the deadline which was the close of business on Friday 1st June, I received seven nominations; Charlotte Smyth, Carol Perry, Rhoda McCallum, Kay McBride, Mags Gallagher, Holly Harper and Tommy Lawson.
Resolution 19.2 proposed by Chair and seconded by Secretary : We the members of Thornton Rose RDA, SCIO SC028617, resolve to appoint the trustees as nominated by the members.
9 Close of meeting (Kay)
Note 1: Election of Trustees
All Trustees serve for the period between Annual General Meetings then demit office. All that want to serve again can stand for re-election up to a maximum of seven by the members. Additional trustees can be appointed by the Trustees themselves at any time during the year taking the total to a maximum of eleven. Once in post the Trustees are responsible for election the Group Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
